My name is Jeffery Boadu, President of NUGS SPB. As a student, it was always my dream to serve in a community that cherish the ideals of unity, tolerance, and a shared desire to achieve common goals. As President of this great Union, I believe that this Union is the best avenue for Ghanaian students in the city to show case their knowledge, skills, socialise, fraternize and share resources to the benefit of members in the Union and Ghana as a whole. I warmly welcome you to the Union and I have the conviction that your academic and career goals can be met in Saint Petersburg with determination, dedication, and discipline without an aorta of doubt and dismay. As an executive body, it is our inordinate mandate to ensure your welfare and security in the city is highly guaranteed and to support you fulfil a shared goal in the Union. The most enviable city in the world is undoubtedly saint Petersburg- Russia ranging from her captivative historic architecture to its amorous stories. The National union of Ghana students - Petersburg (Nugs-Spb) takes pride in providing a larger umbrella that gathers all Ghanaians in the city for companionship and great fun. The union offers golden opportunities to the general student body which includes : sponsorship, summer jobs, summer camps, football competitions, educational seminars, annual get together. NUGS SPB is a must join student union.

The financial status of every union has always been the backbone of every union without which a union can barely stand. To run the Union, Nugs Petersburg are tasked to make monthly contributions. These monthly monies are apportioned according to set down rules of the union where respective percentages of the total revenue collected go into :

Achievable plans as the organizing secretary for NUGS St. Peterspurg, I want to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, leadershiop and attention to details.I urge all executives and members of this unions a happy stay and good luck in all future endeavors. As I leave my post , I have a couple of modest requests to make that every subsequent administration are : ensuring continuity in the organization of our annual African Nations Cup, as started by my administration, to maintain and constantly update our site(). https://nugs-spb.github.io/), Instagrap pages (cones SPb), official service of our official e-mail and monthly contributions.During my presidency, I saw an Alliance that United In great unity to help each other in difficult times. I have witnessed how many of us have been willing to help our fellow Ghanaians. I really admired this nature of brotherhood among us and came only to confirm my pre-election message on the establishment of an all-inclusive Union. I encourage us to continue this virtue and even to do more. I wish I could serve you more, but the time has come when I take on higher tasks, allowing new limbs to take over. Speaking of a higher challenge, I was offered an international task, which I will start from now on. I believe that all my previous positions, which I held in Ghana and here, were training grounds for being offered this international appointment. My next thanks go to Mr. Gadiner and Mr. Awuah for their words of support and ensuring peace and sanity within the Executive body.Thank you. Long live Ghana, long live NUGS Russia ,Long live NUGS St. Petersburg.

Abdul-Kadir Ameyaw graduates with 5.00/5.00 GPA at Russian State Hydrometeorological University By Ameyaw Debrah Published on August 17, 2018 SHARE TWEET COMMENT Abdul-Kadir Ameyaw, an alumnus of Dormaa Senior High School, made history in Russia after graduating as the overall best student with a 5.00/5.00 GPA at Russian State Hydrometeorological University. His perfect GPA means getting an A in every subject for 4 years straight, a first in the history of his faculty. According to 3news.com Ameyaw’s feat is making waves because, for an international student who came to Russia with no knowledge of the language to study the language and get straight A(s) for 4 years has been described as “absolutely unbelievable” Abdul-Kadir Ameyaw who is a native of Dormaa Ahenkro in the Brong Ahafo region had his basic education at St. John’s International School. He proceeded to Dormaa SHS where he won a full scholarship to Study in the United States as part of the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Program. Upon returning to his SHS, he passed West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) to further his education at the University of Ghana, Legon. After three semesters at the university, he left to pursue a degree in Economics in Russia on the Ghana-Russia Bilateral Scholarship. Studying in a new language according to Abdul was not easy but a ten-month language preparatory course prior to studying economics was the saviour. “First year was the toughest because we were put in the same group with Russians and the lecturers never slowed down. I barely understood what was taught at lectures,” he recalled. His strategy was staying ahead of the class day after day. He later gained grounds to represent his university at several academic and non-academic competitions. The Ghanaian braved all odds to even win two scholarships for his master’s degree: First, the Economic Olympics of The Open Doors Russian Scholarship Project from the ministry of education for winning the Olympics. The Economics Olympics of The Open Doors Russian Scholarship Project granted him a full-scholarship to pursue master’s degree in any Russian university of his choice, which he chose St. Petersburg State University. Interestingly, when he applied directly to Petersburg State University to further his education, the school also gave him a full scholarship due to his academic and extra curriculum performance. Abdul however accepted the Economic Olympics of The Open Doors Russian Scholarship Project to pursue his Masters in Management at the St. Petersburg State University Graduate School of Management, a renowned school of management in Eastern Europe..
